The Textile and Apparel Industry is one of the most important industries in the Portuguese economy.
Portugal has nearly 7,000 industries that operate in all the sub-sectors of the textile and apparel industry, some of which are vertical units, although most of them are small and medium-sized companies that are well known for their flexibility and quick response, know-how and innovation.
